Covid 19 Protocols:


“Your health and safety, as well as the health and safety of our co-workers and community, is our first and most important priority. To that end, we have implemented the following COVID-19 protocols recommended by the CDC, ABMP and OSHA at Nicolena4U Massage Therapy”


Required E-forms for ALL clients


Clients:

  • Please wear a mask upon entering the building. Your practitioner will return that courtesy. During your service you will be instructed when it is appropriate to remove your mask. 

  • All clients will be screened upon arrival to make sure they’re not exhibiting any symptoms; cough, fever or shortness of breath. This will include a mandatory temperature check before entering the studio with our touch-less infrared thermometer. If a client is presenting with COVID-19 symptoms, or has been in contact with anyone showing symptoms in the last 14 days, they will be advised to return home and contact their physician. Your practitioner will also be screened daily. 

  • If you are sick, or even suspect you may be slightly sick, please stay home. We are offering a “sickness cancellation policy” during this time. You will not be penalized for cancelling your appointment due to illness. 



Studio:

  • We are limiting the number of people in the studio at once. Please wait in your vehicle until your specific appointment time. We will communicate to you if we are running behind, so that you do not enter the building until the client prior to you has exited. 

  • For everyone’s safety, we can no longer accommodate people waiting in the sitting area for their appointment time. Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment who is not being serviced. 

  • No walk-in appointments or inquiries at any time-please call. This includes the purchase of gift certificates and product, which needs to be done by appointment only. 



Health hygiene protocols:

  • Ongoing reinforcement regarding hand-washing and other preventative measures for cleaning door handles, common surfaces, front desk, equipment and supplies with disinfectants that are EPA –registered and labeled as bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal per OSHA and CDC guidelines. 

  • High-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) purifiers have been placed around the studio and will be running during all hours of operation.

  • We have extended the ‘gap’ time in between each client to ensure proper time for extremely thorough cleaning, and to prevent client overlap.  


In order to protect our more vulnerable populations, if you are considered ‘at risk’ with a compromised immune system, or underlying conditions, please wait to book an appointment when there is less risk involved for you. 


In closing, we miss and love our clients, and we can’t wait to see you, but we want to keep you, your families and ours safe. If you entrust yourself to our care, we will refrain from the hugs we want to give you, we will avoid shaking your hand, and we will make sure that social distancing is respected in the studio to the best of our ability. It’ll be hard, but we will be so happy to see you back in the studio again!
